Shara Magomedov (15-0) is hoping to improve his professional record even more by beating Michael Page (23-3). UFC Fight Night 250 odds suggest he’s going to do it, but we call for caution because his opponent is a seasoned veteran who’s been fighting professionally for 12 years already.
Shara Magomedov vs. Michael Page Odds

When, Where, and How to Watch?
- Place: Anb Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Reasons Why Shara Magomedov’s Odds are -170
Shara Magomedov is favored to win on February 1 because he’s got a 100% win rate. He’s 15-0 with 12 wins by KO/TKO and three by decision. He’s a hell of a striker, who tends to do well against other prolific strikers.
Since joining the UFC, we saw him beat Bruno Silva, Antonio Trocoli, Michal Oleksiejczuk, and Armen Petrosyan. Oleksiejczuk was his hardest fight because the Polish fighter landed three takedowns.
Shara made no TDs – he hasn’t actually landed a single TD since joining the UFC – but he did land 20 significant strikes more than his opponent.
Speaking of significant strikes, he lands 6.82 of them per minute, which is the highest average in the UFC Middleweight division right now.
Can Michael Page Upset the UFC Odds?
Michael Page is 23-3 overall with just one loss by TKO – the other two happened by decision. The loss in question happened back in 2019 to Douglas Lima.
More recently, we saw him lose by a split decision to Logan Storley (2022) and unanimous decision to Ian Machado Garry (2024).
In the fight with Garry, MVP got taken down twice, and the fight was mostly fought on the ground. In fact, the two only exchanged a total of 40 strikes. In Page’s first UFC fight, he landed 41 strikes against Kevin Holland, who’s famous for being a great striker.
Obviously, he can do well against prolific kickboxers, meaning that he’s got every right to feel confident about not getting KO-ed in Saudi Arabia. But can he actually beat Shara?
Shara Magomedov vs. Michael Page Prediction
Shara Magomedov’s fights are super-fun to watch – the evidence is that he won the Performance of the Night in 50% of his UFC fights – but if he wants to beat Page, he needs to be careful. His opponent is a tactical fighter who knows how to take advantage of his opponent’s vulnerabilities.
If Shara decides to risk it, he could get stunned by MVP. If, on the other hand, he fights smart and lets the fight go the distance, it’s very likely that he’ll be the one to win the judges’ score.
Pick: Shara Magomedov by Decision
