“I always bring the energy, and Las Vegas is the perfect spot to create an unforgettable experience for my fans,” the rapper, born Curtis Jackson, said in a statement. “We’re talking big production, surprises, and the ultimate New Year’s Eve party.”

50 Cent and Vegas go back to 2010 together when he performed at Pure (Omnia) at Caesars Palace. Most recently, he performed twice at Drai’s at the Cromwell last month.

Tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 19, via Ticketmaster, with presales kicking off on Wednesday, October 16.

When They Were Spurned

The All-American Rejects have dropped out of the When We Were Young (WWWY) festival, performing Saturday and Sunday at the Las Vegas Festival Grounds.

In a statement shared to Instagram, the band explained: “There has been a management change within the WWWY operation, and they are no longer able to accommodate us in the previously agreed upon line-up, which has made it impossible for us to continue.”

That sounds to us like they were promised a headlining spot on the main stage that they didn’t get. The set times and stage placements were announced on Monday.

Acts on the 2024 bill will play one of their albums in full. My Chemical Romance will perform 2006’s “The Black Parade,” Fall Out Boy 2005’s “From Under the Cork Tree,” and Jimmy Eat World 2001’s “Bleed American.” The Rejects were to play their 2002 self-titled debut album.

“We are especially devastated to not get to play for those of you who are traveling across the globe to witness the visual and sonic spectacle we have been brewing up in our cauldron,” the band’s statement concluded. “We’d like to apologize to our amazing crew who have been working around the clock to make the magic happen.”

Chicago is Venetian’s Kind of Band

Chicago will return to The Venetian Theatre from February 28 to March 15.

This will be Chicago’s eighth year headlining a residency at The Venetian. In 2024, the classic rock band played its 50th show there, making it the longest-running residency in the venue’s history.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, October 18 here. Presales are happening now.
