Joe Stapleton And Morgan Jay Performed Stand-Up At The NAPT

On Monday night, 2024 NAPT Las Vegas Gold Pass winners were treated to a special event at Jalisco Underground here at Resorts World — welcome drinks and a comedy show featuring Joe Stapleton and Morgan Jay, a musician and comedian based in Los Angeles.

Jay has appeared on MTV’s Wild’N’Out, NBC, and Comedy Central and “has carved out his own genre of performance art and comedy creating a show built on imperfection, authenticity, relatability, shared experience and connection.”

As his website states: “He’s Brazilian and Italian which for some reason makes him the guy from Ratatouille. Low key, he’s actually a trained actor graduating from the Tisch School of the Arts at NYU. He’s won multiple awards and festivals but none of that stuff really matters anymore because he has a lot of followers on social media and THAT’s all the matters. HE HAS A SOCIAL MEDIA PRESENCE and a blue check mark. I’m just saying he’s a huge deal. That’s all I’m saying.”

Check out Jay’s full special on YouTube for a taste of his comedy:

It proved to be a fun night filled with lots of laughs, as evidenced by some of these photos by Trevor Scott.
